Above is a Mental Map of Sea World Orlando, Florida taken from the link above. If you visit the actual site, you will see the map come to life with a moving roller coaster complete with a screaming crowd of riders! It is a great example of a Cartographic Animation too! This map is a perfect example of a mental map because it demonstrates the layout of the park attractions in relation to one another. Notice there is no compass rose or North, South, East, or West identification. The map simply displays how to travel from one attraction to another.
